Since 2007, Coach Kris Maeda has been dedicated to educating children in the fundamentals of basketball. He brings a strong sense of discipline and creativity to the hardwood. Coach Kris and his staff have years of experience in coaching all levels ranging from the Division I High School Varsity level to 8-under park leagues.
The HMS basketball clinic features ability-based instruction for basketball players ages 14 and under. It runs year-round on every Sunday from 9:30-11:30, except for days that gym time is unavailable. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player, Coach Kris and his staff will take you to the next level and help you reach your true potential. The HMS clinic is a friendly, positive, and competitive training environment where all children of all different skill levels can thrive to become better fundamentally skilled basketball players.
On your first visit, a registration form needs to be completed before participating. A small fee of $5.00 will be collected at the door every Sunday (HMS students are free).
The 1st session runs from 9:30-10:30 and is for the ages 8-under (depending on skill level). This session focuses on the basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting.
The 2nd session runs from 10:00-11:30 and is for the ages 9 and over/based on skill level. This session is more advanced with the focus of dribbling fundamentals, attack moves, dribble combinations, passing, and shooting.
